Monday (Oct. 30) – Happy McMaster Water Week! Today starts water week with a special talk by Nobel Peace Prize co-recipient Dr. Henry Pollack! Register for the events here!

Tuesday (Oct. 31) – HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

– the BGSS Halloween party kicks off in the morning with a scavenger hunt – so keep refreshing your inbox for the first clue!

– @ noon have your door decorations completed, as judging will start soon!

– @ 3pm bring your carved pumpkin to the lounge and your awesome costumes too, as the Halloween party begins now!

– @ 4pm Vox Physiologica will be having Brett Culbert (Balshine Lab) present on “Going through changes: The effects of social ascent in a cichlid fish” in LSB 213A!

 

Wednesday (Nov. 1) – @ 3:30pm Dr. Rowan Thomsom (Carleton U) will be presenting at the Physics and Astronomy Colloquium on “Advancing cancer radiation therapy with physics: Multiscale modeling from patient to cells” in ABB 102!

Thursday (Nov. 2) – @ 4pm the Biology departmental seminar series will be having Dr. Sarah Adamowicz (U Guelph) present on “DNA barcoding and the origin of species” in HSC 1A4!
